The Airport can be approached via a limited-access freeway which provides a direct link to Interstate I-5 and State Highway 518 to the north and east. There is a major grade separated interchange at 170th Street to allow access to Air Cargo Road, the main access to the North Cargo Area.

Cargo Buildings 1 and 2 in the North Airfield Cargo Center Complex total 104,000 square feet with 193,000 square feet of apron. The $7,500,000 project was acquired by an AFCO investor partnership in 1995. The acquisition was financed by a commercial mortgage loan with an insurance company. It was refinanced through a commercial conduit loan in 1997.

It contains freezer and cooler space, freight scales, a fuel-dispensing system and multi-tenant warehouse and office space. The site also contains 14,000 square feet of outside GSE storage area. It has been financed with a commercial conduit loan.
