Jacksonville Int'l Airport, FL (JAX)

AFCO is an owner of Cargo Building 4 located at 14200 Pecan Park Road, Jacksonville International Airport, FL. At the request of Emery Worldwide in December 1997, AFCO initiated development of this 50,000 square-foot facility, which was ready for occupancy by Emery in November 1998. The $3,500,000 facility was financed with special transportation facility revenue bonds. Construction started in May of 1998 prior to the closing of the bond financing.

The Airport is located 18 miles north of Jacksonville, Florida at the crossroads of three major interstates, I-96, I-10 and I-75 and three of the nation’s commercial trade railroads. Cargo shipped through JIA is within an eight-hour truck drive of nearly 33 million consumers.
