In March 2005, AFCO purchased all of the stock, leaseholds and facilities of Byerly Aviation, Inc, and Byerly Avionics Inc., operators of the fixed-based operations at the two airports. As part of the transaction, AFCO acquired five hangars and a 10,000 square foot general aviation terminal with office space and support facilities. The project was financed with both debt and equity financing.
The acquisition was the first operational FBO undertaking for AFCO and provides a great platform from which to grow and acquire more FBO’s.
