Chuck Stipancic

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Stipancic oversees all strategic, financial and operational activities at AFCO. Since joining AFCO in 2003, Mr. Stipancic has overseen the expansion of the Northern Virginia-based firm through acquisitions, organic growth and the diversification of its asset base. He is widely recognized for his ability to develop innovative and win-win solutions for landlords, tenants, investors and shareholders.

Prior to joining AFCO, Mr. Stipancic spent 14 years with US Airways, Inc., most recently as Vice President, Corporate Real Estate, where he was responsible for all real estate and construction activity and environmental programs in more than 150 locations world-wide. While at US Airways, he was directly involved in the financing, development and management and operation of more than $1 billion of airport and corporate infrastructure projects, including passenger terminals, hangars, warehouses and related airport support facilities, reservation and operation control centers, sales and ticket offices and corporate headquarter facilities. Mr. Stipancic also successfully guided the company’s real estate restructuring through its first Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.

Before joining US Airways, he was involved in the start-up of Presidential Airways and People Express Airlines in various senior management positions.

Mr. Stipancic also serves as Chairman of the Board of the Washington Airports Task Force, which promotes the expansion and enhancement of aviation services for Virginia and the National Capital Region. He also currently serves as a Commissioner on the Loudoun County Economic Development Advisory Commission, which promotes economic development in Loudoun County, Virginia and sits on the boards of AFCO and its affiliate companies.

Mr. Stipancic holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
