Suzanne Smith

Vice President and Assistant Treasurer

Ms. Smith is responsible for many financial activities, including developing budgets for AFCO-affiliated partnerships, analyzing financial reports and proposals, liaison with lenders, assisting with both commercial and bond financing, and preparing financial projection reports. She is the Accounts Payable Manager and her duties also include managing cash transactions required for the daily operations of AFCO and its affiliates, preparing reports to fulfill lender requirements and completing state-required compliance forms.

Prior to joining AFCO, Ms. Smith was an Accountant for the Airports Council International, where her duties included maintaining member/non-member accounts and billing members, preparing accounts receivable and dues reports, and administering an employee flexible spending plan.

Ms. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York and a Masters of Business Administration from the American University in Washington, DC.
